The app inted hour having arrived, the Chairman called <br /> the Public Hearing in this ratter to order. <br /> The Chairman recognized Torn Quinn, Windchime Point, <br /> who reported the permit has technically been filed by the <br /> Board of Trustees . <br /> r. Quinn explained that most members of the Board of <br /> Trustees are attending another meeting and have asked him <br /> to represent therm as they will be sharing the cost for this <br /> project . <br /> r. Quinn reported there has been discussion regarding <br /> the relocation of the post office building to a safer <br /> location. He provided "6 indchime Sketch for Post office <br /> R loc t ion" for Board review. <br /> References - were being made to the sketch, Mr. Quinn <br /> was commenting on the Special Permit requirement that the <br /> construction entrance be closed off upon completion of <br /> construction. He made reference to proposed traffic flow, <br /> noting congestion at the entrance. <br /> Mr . Quinn suggested utilizing the construction <br /> entrance with proper grading, would benefit traffic flow, <br /> he feels the Fare Department would approve a second <br /> entrance) and would allow construction of the post office <br /> without disturbing the tree buffer coverage. Six to eight <br /> parking spaces are being proposed and considered to be <br /> sufficient . <br /> Mr. Quinn spoke to traffic patterns, set' back issues <br /> from Great Neck Road to the location of proposed parking <br /> spaces . <br /> Mr. Quinn stated the Board of Trustees is proposing a <br /> Io x 20 new post office building at the location noted on <br /> the sketch. <br /> Dennis Balzarini expressed concern with the road and <br /> the possibility of creating two entrances . His concerns <br /> being for safety and parting issues . <br /> The Assistant Town Planner explained the entrance is a <br /> temporary construction entrance, which must be closed off <br /> according to the Special. Permit. He stated the Town <br /> 3 <br />
