Mr. Murdock stated the build-out of the electrical <br /> facilities in the development (electric and non-electric) <br /> is completed by the developer under the inspection of <br /> star.. He gualifled this statement by explaining further <br /> that conduit layout, pad placement, and the actual <br /> installation. of cable is done by an electrician hired by <br /> the developer. Installation is inspected. by the utility <br /> company to insure it has been done according to standard.. <br /> The Chairman asked, "You do not place these units " <br /> Mr. Murdock answered, "'We do not place these, no. " <br /> When the Chairman asked specifically if the developer' <br /> made the determination as to l ocat i n, Mr. Murdock <br /> explained the utility. company .makes a recommendation based <br /> upon power distribution. . <br /> Lee Gurney made reference to a statement made by the <br /> developer at a previous meeting whereby the developer <br /> informed the Board that the utility company did not make a <br /> recommendation, but that it was absolute and that he had no <br /> ,input regarding the location of any of the facilities . <br /> i <br /> Mr. Murdoch responded, "we are flexible►, and- that <br /> there have been occasions when a facility has been <br /> relocated in order to make an improvement . <br /> Dennis Bal arini asked about screening materials . <br /> r•. Murdock responded there is a standard, which <br /> govern's the placement of structures; 10-feet in front, and <br /> -feet at the sides and back. He said dated fences are <br /> allowed as Long as they are tagged. <br /> Dennis Balarini asked if a utility box could be <br /> relocated (underground or moved 10-feet) after buildings <br /> have been completed in a development, and whether or not it <br /> would be cost prohibitive. <br /> Mr . Murdock said it could- be done, and that something <br /> could be roved provided however an agreement is reached <br /> regarding payment of expenses incurred, and that only cable <br /> i-s placed underground. <br /> 3 <br />
