Public Hearing ha-s been <br /> scheduled on this date. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Windchime Point, Inc. <br /> Windchime Port Cond r inium-Great beck Road South <br /> Approval of Modification to Special Permit-Post office <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman called <br /> the Public Hearing to order. <br /> She them recognized Marty O'Malley, Chairman Board of <br /> Trustees., Windchime Condominium. <br /> Mr. O' Malley reported a letter- has been seat to the <br /> Mashpee Post Office requesting authoria-t.ion of the <br /> following: individual mail boxes for each of the units; or <br /> scattered site cluster boxes to coincide with the du pster <br /> sites . T date the Post office has not fret replied. <br /> However, when contacted this date said request was <br /> reviewed by the temporary supervisor. scatter site cluster <br /> boxes-' are pos-sible given safety considerations. C-lu�ster' <br /> boxes 'located near dumpsters would have to be covered, snow <br /> and ,ice removal would be required, and dumpster pick-up <br /> would have to be scheduled at times when mail is not being <br /> delivered. <br /> Other issues being that said cluster boxes would have <br /> to be located to accommodate right-hand use only, no back <br /> , some parking may be required. <br /> Mr. O' Malley stated not all of the proposed sites meet <br /> Post office requirements . He suggested a meeting with the <br /> Developer Stu Bornstein and Tory Quinn) , Post Office <br /> Officials, and Trustee volunteers to walk the site for <br /> approval. Some sites may require additional parking, which <br /> would involve tree removal. Consideration of a <br /> building/structure in the event said boxes are required to <br /> 2 <br />
