5� <br /> He prodded a model and demonstration of the proposed <br /> wooden pole with flanges . He spoke to safety and aesthetic <br /> concerns . <br /> Charlotte (last name inaudible) - Stated she -attended <br /> the. ad hoc committee meeting along with a large number of <br /> residents, at which time it was agreed that the fiberglass <br /> poles were preferred -by the majority. <br /> Dennis Bal -arini determined that because the developer <br /> has not net with the residents to discuss this issue, a <br /> Board Member he recommended use of fiberglass poles . <br /> MOTION: Dennis Bal arini made a motion to recommend <br /> approval for the use of fiberglass poles- which Motion was <br /> duly seconded by John Halachis . <br /> Voting in- the affirmative: Beverly Dane, Dennis <br /> Bal arini, and John Halachis . <br /> Opposed: Steve Dolan. <br /> Abstaining from the Vote: Lee Gurney. <br /> The hairma-n determined the Vote carried. f <br /> Steve Dolan suggested the developer be given n <br /> opportunity to speak on this issue. <br /> The Chairman recognized Mr. Bonvie who stated the <br /> decision :is his right to make as lone as the product is <br /> safe structurally. He opposed the Planning Board making a <br /> decision in this matter, defending the right, of the - <br /> developer to decide . <br /> Linda Fletcher -- Spoke to the safety issues in <br /> connection with deteriorating wooden poles in existence, <br /> stating concerns for future use of -the same poles . She <br /> feels strongly that the community preference be taken into <br /> consideration. <br /> Mr. Bon-vie requested a one-month extension to address <br /> this issue. <br /> There being no further Board or public comment the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> 17 <br />
