MOTION: Dennis Bal arini made a Motion to schedule a <br /> Public Hearing in -the ratter of Willowbend County Club, <br /> Definitive Plan, Fin-Me-oot Road, for October 6, 2004, at <br /> 7 : 40 p.m. ; which Motion was duly seconded by Lee Gurney and <br /> so voted unanimously. <br /> efiniti e Plan <br /> C. Talanian Realty -- Southcape village <br /> Route 28 and Donna' s Lane <br /> Submission of Revised Road Design -- Commercial Street <br /> The Chairman recognized Don Megathlin, representing <br /> Applicant, who presented a revised plan entitled, <br /> "Definitive Road Construction Plans, Commercial Street, <br /> Subdivision, Ma hpee, MA, C. Ta lanian Realty Co. , Inc. Road <br /> Plan and Profile, Baxter, Nye, Hol.mgren, Inc. , Reprised <br /> 8/094" . <br /> Mr. Megathlin stated the Consulting Engineer has not <br /> yet responded with comments . <br /> Mr. Megathlin asked for some di ction from the Board <br /> as to what material they would prefer at the traffic <br /> island, granite or Cape Cod berm. He stated he has been <br /> advised by the landscape architect that landscaping would <br /> be difficult and that grass or concrete blocks would be <br /> preferable. However, if the Board prefers the traffic <br /> island to be landscaped, they would do s . <br /> He provided recommendations (shrubs and ground covers <br /> from the landscape architect, Mary L. LeBlanc, Landscape <br /> Design, dated August 16, 2004 . <br /> Mr. Megathlin stated this is the only outstanding <br /> issue remaining with both the Building Inspector and the <br /> Cape Cod Commission. Ee requested the Board tape some <br /> action in this matter, subject to the Consulting Engineer' s <br /> comments. <br /> The Town Planner stated that neither the Consulting <br /> Engineer nor the DPW Director has yet submitted a review in <br /> this matter. <br /> The Town Planner suggested some type of native, low <br /> maintenance ground cover that would not require mowing or' <br /> an irrigation system. <br /> 2 <br />
