The Town Planner reported on an e-mail receivred from <br /> the Animal. Control officer regarding resubmission of <br /> zoning article for the October Torn Meeti-ng. Request for <br /> support of the article regarding proposed new zoning <br /> definitions. De in:ition of commercial kennel vs . <br /> residential kennel . <br /> The Chairman determined the Board could not tale a <br /> position in this matter until such time as a Public Hearing <br /> has been conducted in order to provide the opportunity for <br /> public comment. <br /> Letter from Southport Ad Hoc Committee regarding light <br /> pole options/consultant available at Southport on September <br /> to at 7 : oo p.m. <br /> Letter from the Attorney for New seabury, Jeff Lyman, <br /> advising of their exemption from DCPC with a copy of the <br /> count decision attached. <br /> E-mail from Joan Brown regarding questions relating t-o <br /> a DCPC - Relocation of post office, septic system upgrade, <br /> and updating re nova t i on s . <br /> Board Items <br /> Discussion - DCPC Nomination Process <br /> The Chairman suggested a file be opened for all DCPC <br /> inquiries anal asked if the Planning staff could respond to <br /> -mail questions as sheds. reluctant to use her own <br /> personal email for this- purpose. <br /> The Town Planner agreed tb contact John Lipman, Cape <br /> Cool Commis-sion, and ask him for the answers to these kinds <br /> f questions. <br /> Lee Gurney suggested a log be created for public <br /> comments/e-mail and an indication of Board response. <br /> The Chairman noted the Conservation Commission voted <br /> i <br /> unanimously to support the DCPC. <br /> The Chairman commented on some of those concerns <br /> raised at the Public Meeting such as home additions, <br /> repairs, septic systems, builda-bilit r of their lots, <br /> traffic, transportation, road infrastructure, shuttle bus <br /> from Southport to the Commons .
