Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Public Hearing Notice <br /> Pursuant to- Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 40A, the Mashpee Planning Board will hold a public <br /> hearing on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 7:05 p.m. at the Mashpee Town Fall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North, to review the following zoning articles for action at the October 18, 2004 Town Meeting. <br /> 1. An article submitted by the Board of Selectmen which would amend Sections 174-3 and 174-25 provide for separate zoning definitions and regulation of commercial vs. residential kennels. <br /> . An article submitted by the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals which would amend <br /> Section 174-4 .4, the accessory apartment zoning bylaw adopted at the October 2003 Town <br /> Meeting, by deleting the requirement for review by the Design review committee and <br /> substituting staff-level reviews by Town departments-specified under the Plan Review zoning by- <br /> law. It would also provide the Board of Appeals some flexibility in allowing a second.driveway or <br /> curb cut to provide parking for an accessory apartment. <br /> . An article submitted b y the Planning Board that would amend the zoning to -1 Commercial, <br /> from I-1 Industrial and I-c Overlay, on those parcels shown as Parcels c and D on a ..Definitive <br /> Commercial' Street Plan of Land, Mashpee, Massachusetts" by Baxter, Nye and Holrngren, Inc., <br /> which was signed by the Mashpee Planning Board on August 6, 2003, along with the adjacent <br /> portion of the layout of Commercial Street, to its center line; and further reprise the zoning map to <br /> include all of that parcel shown on the 2003 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 81, Block 126 in <br /> the R-3 Residential zoning district. <br /> 4. An article submitted by the Planning Board that would amend Sect.ion 174-3 of the Zoning By-law <br /> by revising the definition of'Half-story". <br /> . An article submitted by the Planning Board amending Section 174-3 to add a definition for <br /> "Handicapped Access Aisle", amending Sections 174-35 and 174- 8- to reference handicapped <br /> parking requirements, amending Sections 14-40, 174-48.A and 14-48.B to delete references t <br /> the former c-1- V and C-1-0 zoning districts and add a reference to the &3 district, and <br /> amending Section 174-43 to allow reduced parking requirements under certain conditions. <br /> . An article submitted by the Planning Board which would amend Section 174- 1 by providing that <br /> the Planning Board may authorize an increase in height for hotels and motels to 3 stories and 4 <br /> feet as part of the special permit required for such projects. <br /> 7. Are article submitted by the Planning Board which would amend Section 174- by reducing <br /> parking requirements for hotels, motels and inns. ICD <br /> .
