Mr. Slavinsky measured from the <br /> pavement to the property lime, being 83-9 ft . He stated the <br /> amount over the maximum (8 0 -f t . ) is actually Town <br /> property, the layout of Old Barnstable Road. Measurement <br /> from the layout of Old Barnstable Road to the end of the <br /> layout of the cul-de-sac, would be 785 ft . <br /> 4 The Town Planner suggested that anything over 800 ft. <br /> could require a waiver, in writing, from t-he appropriate <br /> section of the subdivision regulations. <br /> Dennis Balzarini asked about Fire Department concerns, <br /> The Chairman recognized Ken Marsters, representing the <br /> Applicant, who informed the Board applicant is unwilling t <br /> install sprinkler systems in the homes . He relayed a <br /> conversation he had with Fire Chief Baker, who has taken <br /> the position that anything over the required 800 ft . would <br /> require sprinkler systems . <br /> Mr. Mrsters stated his intention to request a waiver, <br /> as directed by the Applicant . He made the port that in <br /> the event of a fire on Casper Circle, the houses could be <br /> accessed faster than 99 of the housing stock in Mashpee . <br /> The Town Planner made references to access by Great <br /> Hay Road. <br /> It was the general consensus of the Board that a <br /> request for waiver would be reasonable. There was some <br /> concern/discussion regarding emergency road maintenance and <br /> enforcement, particularly snow removal . The Town being <br /> responsible to plow the paved section of the roadway. <br /> MOTION: DennisB l zarini made a Motion to approve the <br /> waiver request with reference to Sec. 11- 7 (dead-end <br /> stret n 'longer than 800 ft. ) of the Mashpee Subdivision <br /> Rules and Regulations: which Motion was duly seconded by <br /> John Hlachis and so voted unanimously. <br /> There being no further Board or Public comment, the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Lee Gurney made a Motion t approve the 8-Lot. <br /> Definitive Subdivision Plan subject to relocation of the <br />
