Attorney Ford madeit known to the Board that the <br /> Applicant has been involved in an extremely long, involved <br /> process with Town Boards/Committees and has made eery <br /> .attempt to follow direction and to accommodate those <br /> neighbors who have voiced objections to the use of QUippi3h <br /> Road. He asked for Board consideration to not refer this <br /> matter, at this point, to the Cape Cody omission in light <br /> of everything the Applicant has done to comply. <br /> Attorney Ford then spoke to the condition of the <br /> proposed property being considered for redevelopment . <br /> The Chairman stated the fact that there will be <br /> regional impacts from the project being proposed with <br /> -regard to traffic issues . <br /> Attorney Ford feels it would be. terribly unfair to- the <br /> Applicant if referral to the Commission was made at this <br /> poi t, stating thin matter should/could have been addressed <br /> -several months ago. He claimed the Planning Board was not <br /> considering a referral until the neighbors appeared before <br /> them and made this request. <br /> The Town Planner interjected at this point stating <br /> that it has been his determination from the outset that <br /> there could be no additional curb cuts on Route 28 and that <br /> e had conveyed this to the Applicant . He was unaware of <br /> any determinations made by Town Counsel stating he has not <br /> had the opportunity to read review any such determination. <br /> Attorney Ford suggested. Applicant be given the <br /> opportunity to allow for completion of the process . <br /> Further inquiry will be made of Town Counsel in order t <br /> determine whether or not it is possible to complete the <br /> project using Route 28 rather than Quippish Road for <br /> access. <br /> The Chairman clarified the first time this matter was <br /> -scheduled for hearing before the Planning Board was at the <br /> last meeting, April 20, 2005. <br /> The Chairman spoke to the serious traffic concerns in <br /> lashpee and Planning Board attempts to address them. <br /> Attorney Ford stated for the Record: ''That we are no <br /> longer proceeding with the use of Quippish Road and <br /> therefore we will no longer be proceeding before the <br />
