Motfon is made by Jinn to approve preliminary plans based on Greg Taylor's comments, <br /> Charlie's suggestions, and the issues that the cape Cod Commission had mentioned. <br /> Seconded by Beverly; carried unanimously. <br /> Kirsner irrevocable Trust <br /> Charlie talked about Kirsner's preliminary plans, which he provided for Board review. He <br /> made note of the storm watering drainage practices at the entrance of Fite..28. He said <br /> that the utility pole needs,to be relocated and that a fire hydrant boundary goes beyond <br /> the lot boundary. He also mentioned a few other items, including a hazardous situation <br /> at the rotary. Jim also had several items to point out and agreed about the bad rotary <br /> condition. Tom, said that the intersection bolos "scary" and thought that Mass Highway <br /> would have a lot to say about this. Detailed discussion among the Board ensued about <br /> the situation at the rotary. Comments such as long backups in the summer, traffic <br /> gridlock and passing shoulder obstacle were noted. Board deliberated as to what action <br /> to take. <br /> Motion was made by Jim to deny Kirsber's preliminary plans citing that they are <br /> incompatible with neighboring conditions, left hand movement difficulties, stacking of <br /> vehicles forgetting in and out of the site, and general safety concerns. Seconded by <br /> Beverly and carried unanimously. <br /> r <br /> Other Business <br /> Torn Fudala mentioned the following items, which had unanimous Board consensus; <br /> recommendation that the Minutes should be posted on the Planning Board Web Site; <br /> that Board Secretary, r ella Stevens, should pursue application to become a Notary <br /> Public; that an inquiry will be made regarding nameplates for the Board; and that <br /> Beverly could consider taking courses on sub-division control regarding the State <br /> Zoning Act. <br /> Motion to adjourn at 9:20 p.m. i's made by Jim, seconded by Beverly, and carried <br /> unanimously. <br />
