Fire Department. <br /> Reference was made to a letter dated larch 1 , 2003, <br /> from Deputy Chief Sheldon C. Hamblin, to the attention of <br /> Robert F. Mills . Said letter indicates that the road <br /> conditions have been reviewed by Deputy Hamblin and that he <br /> has determined no further widening is necessary, <br /> particularly if buildings are located within 150 ft . from <br /> the nearest paved portion of Monomoscoy Road proper. The <br /> -survey plan shows the furthest corners to be 120 ft. <br /> The Tern Planner stated the By-law requirement to be- <br /> that <br /> prior to the issuance of a building permit, the <br /> project -must be located on a street. The By-law definition- <br /> of "street" is either one that has been approved by the <br /> Planning. B . r. a._.subdi i ion _street- and one. on wh-ich- the <br /> covenant has- been released, a Town road, or a road that has <br /> been approved by the Planning Board for adequate access t <br /> the lot . <br /> Separate from the issue of the 1 -ft . fire <br /> protection, is the determination of whether or- not the dirt <br /> section of [ on m scoy Road Test is adequate access . <br /> The Assistant Torn Planner reported the Consulting- <br /> Engineer has approved the condition of the road/grades . <br /> Richard Terry objected to the Board taking a vote on <br /> this matter this evening as the Applicant is not present . <br /> He suggested the Board remain consistent in their voting <br /> process, suggesting Applicant should be present in order t <br /> address the Board directly. <br /> The Board was in agreement with the previous speaker' <br /> concerns.
