The Town Planner explained the Article would allow
hotels and motels; in the IC Overlay Zoning District .
Planning Board Special Permit would be required.
MOTION: Don Myers made a Motion to recommend Article
#25 as written to Town Meeting; which Motion was seconded
by Dennis Ba-l.zarini and so voted unanimously.
# - Article 2
The Town Planner explained this Article relates to the
connector' road. Current zoning requires 15 -foot setback
in Industrial zones from any public road; and 75-feet being
requi-red from a private road. It appears that with the
Town taking of the Industrial Park Road and the connector
road,. a 150-foot setback from Industrial Drive would be
necessary. This clearly was not the original intent f the
By-law. The Article would amend setback requirements to
75-feet in all areas with the exception of Route 28 and
Route 151, which areas would require 15 -feet,
_ MOTION,:- -Denni . Bal arini -made..-a-, Motion. -to recommend-
Article #-26 as written to Town Meeting; which Motion was
seconded by Richard Terry and so gated unanimously.
•
# - Article 27
The Chairman explained this is a Petition Article.
All petitioners were invited to attend tonight' s Meeting.,
however no one is in attendance. Industrial free standing signs are to be located
closer than 5 -feet of the lot lime, which means a sign
could be placed on the lot lime.
The Town Planner recommended the Board deny approval
f this Article.
After brief discussion of this matter the Chairman
entertained a ration be made.
17
