y <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> May 21, 2 00 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called <br /> to order in Conference Room f 1, Mashpee Town Fall, 16 Great <br /> Neck Road Forth, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 7 : 0 p.m. The <br /> Chairman, Beverly Kane, presided. <br /> Planning Board Members present : Dennis Bail za-rini, <br /> ViceChairman; Steve Dolan' . Clerk Lee Gurney, Associate <br /> Member; Beverly Kane, Chairman; Don Myers; and Richard <br /> Terry (7 : 1 .p. . ) . <br /> Also present: Thomas Fu dala, Town Plaanner, and ErIc <br /> Smith, Assistant Town Planner. <br /> A quorum being present the Chairman called the Meeting <br /> to order (7 : 00 p.m. ) . <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> a .. - MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to approve the <br /> Minutes -of March 5, 2003 as amended, "Arabic Avenue"; which <br /> Lotion way-s seconded by Steve Dolan and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> Discussion <br /> Selectman Green - Land Use and Homeland Security <br /> The Chairman reeogni ed Selectman Green who provided <br /> information regarding this matter so that the Board could <br /> determine whether or -not they would be interested in <br /> participating. <br /> Selectmen Green spore to the proposed formation of a <br /> public information group. The Board of Selectmen .has <br /> suggested the Planning Board appoint a delegate to meet <br /> with the military and public information groups with regard <br /> to the feasibility study. <br /> The Town Planner explained the Army National Guard has <br /> proposed a joint land use study to examine land use outside <br /> the Base and impacts thereto. <br /> 1 <br />
