Blaisdell, Cleric,Ronald S.Bonvie,Board Member,James Reiffarth,Associate
Members, Domingo K. DeBarros, and Richard Jodka, and Building Commissioner,
Richard Morgan.
The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the
provision of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee
Zoning By-laws.
Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented Robert and Marjorie Hackett requesting to raze
and replace an existing single-family home. He submitted updated plans since the filing
date and has appended more accurate written remarks.
The lot consists of 2,968 square feet and has approximately 72 feet of frontage
along Stanley Road. The structure fails to conform to the front yard setback because it was
built across the property line as is the rear setback which is 5.9 feet from the rear property
line. It does conform on the westerly side and conforms on the easterly side where the
proposed septic system will be located. The existing building is a 2-bedroom single-story
residence and currently has an overall footprint of 769 square feet and a portion of the 68
square feet structure sits on the undeveloped way.
1
