In addition I have received a print of the site plan prepared by J. M. O'Reilly
Associates, Inc. that indicates the location of the proposed driveway into the lot.
Lot 29 has been cleared and a foundation has been constructed. The surface of
Fox dill Road has been exposed and edges of pavement are discernable adjacent to the
cleared area. The edge of pavement appears to be in reasonable condition With no
breaking off of the edge observed. The pavement itself, although well oxidized, appears
to be intact with no significant cracking or breaking apart. A strip approximately 2 feet
guide on the opposite side of the road has been more recently added. A small area of
grass next to the 2" strip was observed in the old mix base. The following are m
recommendations for-the upgrade of that portion of Fox Hill Road at Lot 9:
1. Clear all debris, grass, etc. from the paged area extending northerly to a point
near the northerly end of the proposed driveway,
2. If the grass area next to the 2' wide strip has come up through the base mix then
- the deteriorated base in that area should be removed and should be replaced.
3. Thoroughly sweep the pavement of all dirt, debris: etc. and inspect the existing
base.
4. Once the base has been inspected and approved, apply a tack coat of liquid
bituminous asphalt,
. Apply a top course of mix beginning at the end of the most recently reconstructed
pavement extending approximately 50 feet to the northerly edge of the proposed
driveway and add Cape Cod Berra,
. Fie-plant road shoulders as necessary vAth loam and seed in all disturbed areas.
Please feel free to contact me If you have any quesbons.
Very truly yours,
Charles L.
