Architects/Engineers, Storage Facility Building #1, for
Holler Management" .
Mr. Bornstein proposed using cut stone block around
half of the building rather than using all metal materials .
He explained. that his research i ndicate' s that buildings
constructed entirely with metal do not hold up as well, and
that they are not as visually pleasing.
Mr. Hornstein explained some of the problems with an
all metal building, as well as the construction of the.
proposed partial stone building exterior. The color of the
natural stone materials will be earth tomes.
There was some discussion regarding height dimensions
and rooflines. The Town Planner requested plans be
submitted for Building #2 as well .
Mr. Bornstein informed the Board that plans and
material samples have been submitted to Design review for
their approval .
The Town Planner clarified that technically the
Applicant is requesting to replace revised plans with
previously approved building plans. Currently there is a
set of plans on file with the special Permit that refer to
the elevations . Applicant has submitted a replacement plan
for Building #1 that requires two 2 separate votes from
the Planning Board. The first vote would be to determine
whether or not said change is considered to be a minor, site
plan modification not requiring a Public Hearing; and a
second vote to approve: a► new set of plans to replace the
original plans refer-red to in the Decision. Specific plans
for both Building #1 and Building #2 are required for the
record.
The "down Planner suggested the Board vote this date
for approval of the materials, and that he draft a Decision
to include both buildings for the next meeting. He also
suggested Applicant submit a plan describing the stone
materials being proposed for Building #1 and Building #2 .
Them being no further Board or staff comment the
Chairman enttertained a motion be made as to whether or not
Applicant' s request for a change in exterior materials is
minor or major odi.f cat-ion to the Special Permit .
