f <br /> The Town Planner stated zoning requires granite or <br /> concrete curbs. Zoning also requires a ratio of 1-5 of <br /> landscaping within the parting field not shown on the site <br /> plan) , however the Planning Board does have authority to <br /> waive said requirement due to the configuration of the <br /> parking area. Irrigation from a priiVate well is requited <br /> for parking lot landscaping. <br /> The Town Planner commented that the North and South <br /> elevations are reversed on the building plans . He asked if <br /> Applicant would consider increasing the screening at Simons <br /> Road to benefit residential abutters to the property. <br /> Mr. Ojala responded, "Yes, that would be very <br /> reasonable.' <br /> The Town Planner also addressed the issue of <br /> sufficient screening at the pipe storage area, which falls <br /> under- Planning Board jurisdiction under this process. The <br /> entire property, including the Augat site is subject to <br /> Planning Board review. <br /> The Town Planner also questioned the storm water and <br /> drain-age calculations. There is a 1 % maximum coverage by <br /> impervious surfaces within t-he groundwater protection <br /> district; only shows on the plan (pavement and <br /> buildings at and open space at . <br /> The chairman stated the entire site needs a thorough <br /> review. She stated. the Planning Board has a particular <br /> interest in the stormwater plan and would hope that it is <br /> the very best it can possibly be. <br /> There being no further Board comment the Chairman <br /> opened the discussion to members of the public <br /> Pat Eldridge - Speaking on behalf of her mother, <br /> Marjorie Jordan, an abutter to the proposed construction. <br /> Her major concerns are noise, safety, aesthetics, and <br /> property values in the area . She requested the same <br /> concern shown for the aesthetics of the building fronts be <br /> extended to the residents as well . <br /> At this point the Town Planner requested Applicant' s <br /> engineer to show the two residential homes on the plan. <br /> 6 <br />
