Mr. Rowley suggested that 'portion of the drainage area <br /> closest to the actual roadway be re-calculated, as he feels <br /> insufficient road surface ha!s been taken! into account . The <br /> road runoff travels quite rapidly to the lour point, whereas <br /> it takes more time to travel over natural ground'. His <br /> major concern is for the immediate impact of the runoff -and <br /> sufficient protection- of the owner to the east . <br /> There are drainage easements on Dots 4, 5, and 6. <br /> r <br /> The Town Planner presented a comment received from the <br /> Fire Dep8rtment regarding the street -nacre. The Deputy <br /> Chief has expressed concern for use of the proposed street <br /> name of "Hicks Way". which is very similar to the driveway <br /> located at the Fire Station, which is "Frank Hicks Drive". <br /> The Town Planner informed the Board that the street <br /> name does not appear on the 197 ' s approved subdivision <br /> plan. It does -however, appear on the As-ssso.rs' Map, and <br /> the recorded Plan. <br /> The chairman recognized Mr. Hicks, who stated the road <br /> name "Hicks Way" had been submitted some years ago on the <br /> older plans, and was established when both roads were <br /> constructed, being "Amanda Ways. and "Hicks Way" . <br /> Harvey Cohen explained the concern is a safety issue, <br /> to avoid con u-sion in the event of an emergency response to <br /> a 911 call. <br /> Mr. Hicks agreed to consider/discuss the name -of <br /> "Pauline Hicks Ways. . <br /> The Consulting Engineer requested Applicant' ;engineer <br /> to include bounding of the streets; to which Mr. slavinsky <br /> agreed. <br /> There being no further Board or Public comment the <br /> Chairman entertained a motion to close the Public Hearing. <br /> MOTION: Dennis alarin-i made a Motion to close the <br /> Public Hearing in this matter; which Motion was duly <br /> seconded by John Hal chic and so voted a animously. <br /> MOTION: Lee Gurney made a Motion to accept/approve the <br /> Modification of the Definitive Subdivision Plan for <br /> ashnet Road, tentatively known as "Hicks Way,", subject to <br /> R <br />
