ti <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> December 6, 2006 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board Meeting was called <br /> -to order in Conference Room 1, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great <br /> Neck Road Forth, Mashpee-, Massachusetts at p.m. on <br /> Wednesday, December 6, 2006. <br /> Planning Board Members present : Dennis Bal arini, <br /> Nice-Chairman; Harvey Cohen, Associate Member; Lee Gurney, <br /> Clerk; John Halachis; Beverly Kane, Chairman; and. Myrna <br /> Duey. <br /> Also present : F. Thomas Fudala, Tern Planner. <br /> (The Assistant Town Planner, Thomas Mayo, was not present. ) <br /> quorum being present the Chairman called the Meeting <br /> to order. <br /> Correspondence <br /> The Chairman informed the Board of a notice received <br /> from the Cape Cod Commis-sion regarding a Public Hearing on <br /> December 1 th. at : 00 p.m. , Assembly of Delegates Chambers, <br /> in connection with the Mashpee Commons Jobs Fishing and <br /> Whitings load Neighborhoods, proposed Master Plan for <br /> 40, 900 sq. ft. of new commercial space. <br /> The Chairman inquired a-s to Planning Board <br /> 3urisdictional review of this proposed project after Cape <br /> Cod Commission approval. <br /> The Town Planner stated that both Town Counsel and ZBA <br /> Special 40B Counsel agree that Planning Board review 1s <br /> required. However, Mr. Storrs and his counsel disagree. <br /> Mr. Storrs has stated that he does not feel it is necessary <br /> to appear before the Planning Board in this regard. <br /> The Town Planner suggested that the Building Inspector <br /> be made aware of this situation at the time building <br /> permits are requested to determine whether or not the <br /> project is in conformance with the Town zoning <br /> requirements. <br />
