Archeologist, hitch Mullholland began with his report of the <br /> site. He said he had conducted an archeological survey to provide information on the <br /> integrity of the site so that anything significant on the site would not be disturbed. He <br /> explained hover-he found artifacts indicating native American activity and hover many of <br /> these artifacts can be dated. He said that the north side of the site needs to be afforded <br /> protection. Jack IIcElhinney further explained how they plan to preserve this site, i.e., <br /> hand cutting of trees, laying soil on top, etc. <br /> Dennis granted to know how the native Am ricans felt about this. Dick inquired <br /> about the cost of irrigation. Discussion ensued regarding landscaping. Bruce Besse <br /> assured the Board that they are trying to save as many trees as possible and that all <br /> open space areas will be protected. Charlie had a question about the cutting and filling <br /> in of stumps. Bruce explained how this will not be.a problem. Civil Engineer, Mike <br /> Tucker, talked about traffic. He explained how this project will generate less traffic than <br /> it would have for 67 buildings. He said they are giving $56,000 to the Cape Cod <br /> Commission to be used for the torn. He explained the long review process they had <br /> gone through with the Commission. He showed on wrap where the buffer zone is and <br /> said they were requesting some variance for the setback in some areas. <br />
