The Commission received the referral on <br /> March 21, 2002. <br /> Under the Cape Cod Commission Act, the Commission is required to schedule a public hearing <br /> within sixty (60) days of the receipt of a DRI referral. No municipal permits may be issued <br /> unless the Commission completes its review and issues a DRI approval. In the event that a <br /> DRI application is not filed in a timely manner, the initial public hearing will be opened by a <br /> hearing officer of the Commission. <br /> As project proponents, you are required to file an application with the Commission for your <br /> project. We received your application on March 26, 2002,however, at this time it is incomplete. <br /> We will schedule a public hearing when we have received a completed application. While not <br /> required, I suggest that we arrange a pre-application meeting to discuss your project, the <br /> application requirements, and any questions you may have relative to the review process. <br /> An updated certified abutters list is required as part of the DRI application. Please note that <br /> the Cape Cod Commission Act defines abutters as `owners of land located within three <br /> hundred feet of any boundary of the proposed development." The application also requires that <br /> the certified abutters list be submitted on the grid sheet provided with the application.
