This letter is pursuant to your recent request for information regarding <br /> Verizon Wireless'coverage needs in the Mashpee & Sandwich (Forestdale) area. Structure Consulting Group <br /> has been actively looking for sites to satisfy the Verizon Wireless coverage gap in this area since June of 1999 <br /> when a real estate search request was issued by Luis Teves,the Verizon Wireless Radio Frequency (RF) <br /> Engineer responsible for this region. <br /> Acting on the search directive from Verizon Wireless, this office analyzed several potential raw land sites. We <br /> also researched a number of existing structures in order to try and resolve coverage issues in this locale. <br /> Attachments were considered at the Byrne Ready Mix concrete facility as well as at cupolas and steeples in the <br /> area. Additionally, power line modifications and/or attachments were researched in a variety of locations. <br /> None of these locations had the height,or elevation that would make the site(s) suitable from an RF coverage <br /> perspective either as stand-alone facilities or in conjunction with each other. <br /> Regarding specifications on equipment that may be installed at the site I have attached detail sheets for a <br /> Decibel Products Antenna Model DB844H80N-XY and a Swedcom Antenna Model SC 9012-Din. Also attached <br /> is a detail sheet for a Kullman Industries Equipment Shelter Model 00260. This equipment is currently In use at <br /> numerous Verizon Wireless cell sites throughout the region. Please note that Verizon Wireless may change <br /> equipment vendors based on variations in the competitive bid process.
