F <br /> In addition to the above fees, the applicant will be responsible for the cost of postage for <br /> railing of,required notices to abutters, including certified mailing of public hearing notices and <br /> regular mailing of decision notices, as well as the cost of required newspaper advertisements. <br /> The Board encourages applicants to assume responsibility for required mailings of hearing <br /> notices. <br /> B. Normal inspections covered by the basic inspection fees listed above include drainage <br /> inspection, gravel inspection, inspection of paving binder course, inspection of paving finish <br /> course and final inspection for roadways, and for parking areas in projects other than cluster <br /> subdivisions, as well as other site development, including landscaping and surface drainage <br /> patterns around buildings, but exclusive of buildings or wastewater treatment facilities, as <br /> required by the Board for the project. <br /> A re-inspection fee will be charged for additional inspe Lions beyond.those listed above that are <br /> made necessary due to unsatisfactory materials or construction that lead to a failure to pass the <br /> original inspection. <br /> The filing and review fees specified above shall be submitted to the Board as pant of the <br /> original application for the special permit. An application will be deemed to be. incomplete <br /> without payment of said fees at the time of submittal. <br /> Inspection fees specified above shall be submitted to the board within 20 calendar days <br /> following the approval of the special permit and prior to the Board's endorsement of the Special <br /> Permit Decision or Spedal Permit Madi cation Decsion document. <br /> Any re-inspection fees due shall be submitted prior to the release of any roadway covenant (for <br /> cluster subdivisions) or performance bond for road construction or other facilities covered by a <br /> special permit approval. <br /> section VIII <br /> EMPLOYMENT of OUTSIDE CONSULTANTS <br /> A. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 44, Section 53G of the General Laws, the Planning <br /> Board 'May impose reasonable fees for the employment of outside consultants to review special <br /> permit project applications and supporting materials and studies submitted for approval by the <br /> Board . The Board also. considers the use of such consultants for inspections of facilities <br /> permitted or required under a .special Permit Deds on or .special Permit difica ion Decision <br /> document, to determine compliance with the terms and conditions of said decision or <br /> modification document, other than those inspections covered by the Board's standard <br /> inspection fees as listed in Section V , or of buildings inspected by the Town's Building <br /> Inspector, to-be an appropriate use of such outside consultants and fees. <br /> The decision to seek consultant assistance, the selection of a consultant, the establishment of a <br /> consultant fee or fee schedule and any request to the applicant for payment shall be made by <br /> majority Grote of the Board at a public.meeting. <br /> Said funds shall be paid by the applicant within seven days of a request by the Board for <br /> payment and shall be deposited in a special account established by the Town Treasurer- and be <br /> 1 <br />
