t <br /> y <br /> veri on Wirele6s representative present at the meeting. <br /> Acquisition <br /> Tara Calabrese, Planner Site Acquisition Permitting - <br /> reviewed the site selection at 54 Echo Road, Mashpee, Nisi. She <br /> complimented the Planning Staff for conducting such a thorough <br /> review of the application, stating her intent to address some <br /> concerns which have been raised as a result thereof. <br /> Display - wireless overlay map for the northern section of <br /> Mashpee. This particular parcel being the only one on Echo Road <br /> which meets all requirements of the Mashpee By-law. <br /> Said parcel had been subdivided prior to application; <br /> that portion closest to Route 130 is to be leased. The remaining <br /> two lots created by the ANR do not meet theBy-law due to fall <br /> back zone setbacks. The subject parcel being the only one t <br /> meet By-law conditions. The reason other lots in this area do <br /> not conform to the By-law is existing buildings, properties have <br /> already been developed. The By-law prohibits a facility next to <br /> an existing building. <br /> References were made to the location of an active sand and <br /> gravel pit, which is not considered to be a feasible option due <br /> to current excavation on the property. <br /> Aerial Photograph - outlining the overlay district and that <br /> portion of the proposed location at 54 Echo Road. <br /> Site Plan - shown as a 2 .2 acne lot; proposing to lease a <br /> 10, 000 square foot area with access easement. Access is off to <br /> the side in order to lixtiit visual impact of the facility on Echo <br /> Road. Proposed landscaping s agreed -to with the Cape Cod <br /> Commission, consisting of aborvi t ae hedge around the exterior of <br /> the leased area and landscaped with rhododendron. The driveway <br /> is gravel. A 150 foot monopole is being proposed, steel <br /> grey in color. The building would be traditional Cape Cod <br /> design, shingle exterior with gabled roof, approximately 1, 364 <br /> square feet, rectangular in shape. <br /> Noise Impact - Changes have been made in order to meet 50 <br /> decibel noise .impact requirement. Given the choice of either <br /> requesting a variance or mitigation, Applicant has chosen to <br /> mitigate. Applicant ' s Noise Engineers have suggested replacing <br /> the chain link fence with a solid wood fence thereby reducing the <br /> decibel by ten which would be 46 decibels which is within the <br /> requirement. <br /> Don ters inquired if said fence would be a security fence. <br /> Ms .. Calabrese responded, "Yes" , standard chain link fencing. <br /> The Chairman asked if the proposed wood fence would be the <br /> � _ <br />
