He stated his tower meets or exceeds all <br /> structural requirements established by BOCA, HIA 2 -F. 71le <br /> tower will be designed to handle an additional wind Load with <br /> 1 inch ice. As an additional safety factor he stated his <br /> intent to over design the tower. Be plans to be able to <br /> accommodate up to eight potential tenants on this tower. The <br /> foundation design is over rated in terns of capacity. <br /> Don Myers asked for clarification of a term used by the <br /> previous Appl i cant, "major-" "minor" carriers. <br /> Mr. Joyal responded in terms of load capacity stating there <br /> really is no differential . He reiterated his intent to over <br /> design his structure so that the capacity will be able to <br /> accommodate any load. <br /> Don Myers asked if Applicant' s tower design will have more <br /> capacity inherently built into it than the other project being <br /> proposed. <br /> Mr. Joyal responded, "That' s what I 'm telling you. " <br /> !r. Joyal reported the manufacturer states there has never <br /> been a recorded failure of the type of monopole being proposed <br /> for this project (approximately twenty 20 yrs. years) .
