i
Permit require identification of all significant trees on a
plan, which has not yet been provided.
Mr. Bornstein stated he is making an attempt to save
more than the "significant trees" . Until such time as the
land is cleared and building loations. ae been identified
it is extremely difficult to provide landscaping details .
He offered a plan for each- individual building a-s it i
being constructed.
The chairman explained the Board required landscaping
details just as the roads and buildings have been indicated
on a plan.
The Town Planner -suggested Applicant submit a draft
plan now and a final plan as ea-ch building is completed.
Torn Quinn noted they are allowed to clear 20-feet
around each building. It is not always necessary to clear
all the way around a building, in which case the trees
could remain closer to the building. If allowed to provide
individual landscaping plans for each of the buildings,
Applicant could thereafter provide information of those
areas being left in a natural state (as requested by some
buyers) . Every effort is being made to allow for the
preservation of existing trees.
The chairman expressed concern with notbeing provided
a draft landscape plan of the project.
The Town Planner suggested a draft plan be submitted;
as each individual building permit is requested, a more
detailed landscape plan be provided. He volunteered to
provide the appropriate language; a waiver to the special
Permit regulation.
He reminded the Board of the decision as to whether or
not to allow the road clearing.
Don Myers suggested ppli -ant provide Just a much
detail as possible on any draft landscaping plans being
submitted regarding significant effects of said
landscaping.
Tory Quinn requested permission to cut the road, which
would provide the -opportunity to tag all trees over lo-
inches back to where the proposed buildings will be
7
