Tom expressed concerns-about <br /> grater-perking through topsoil. Charlie said that a large amount of rain could <br /> possibly cause a problem. Torn expressed concern about bacteria in dirt. Chris <br /> Costa did not see this as a problem. There was some disagreement abouit this. <br /> Chris said he wanted a qualified engineer to look at the plans. Charlie suggested <br /> that he and Chris meet again to discuss this issue. Torn said that this could be <br /> done-dudng the appeal period and should.not hold things up. <br /> Beverly suggested that these results be reported to the Planning Board. There <br /> was brief mention about the traditional use of pesticides. vat r quality monitoring <br /> program was explained in detail. Pater Dagle inquired about security. It was <br /> suggested that 1 ,000 per well be payable at signing. There was some. <br /> discussion about this. Matt said he did not want this to hold things up. <br /> Motion by Dennis to accept the special permit with the following conditions: that <br /> Charlie and Chris review Item #9 and report back to Board; that a date be set to <br /> collect security prior to release of first covenant; and that there be either <br /> construction or relocation of wells prior to first covenant release. Seconded by <br /> Beverly; carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Martine to approve cluster subdivision definitive plan. Seconded by <br /> Dennis; carried unanimously. <br /> T I nian Realty Co.,- Inc.; Approval of special Permit <br /> Torn began discussion by-explaining that he had met twice with Mr. Talanian's <br /> representatives since the last Planning Board meeting. Architects .John Cheshire <br /> and Ben Wilson distributed copies of plans. Ben said that the biggest change <br /> was that there were now drawings of the project. He said that,.discrepancies <br /> between the plans had all been taken care of. He pointed out the change which <br /> included the parking spaces; ddv w ; adjustments w.ith paring; raised <br /> crosswalks; modificati n of fire department access requirements; removal of <br /> several trees in front of buildings E & H. <br /> Ben explained and pointed out traffic flog and radius curve on an area in <br /> question. Matt asked if the street was narrower than before. Ben said no. <br /> Torn had a question about the roof,treatrnents and the number of textures used. <br /> He said there were some concerns from Design Review on this. He then asked <br /> Ben to point out where trees had been removed. <br /> Torn said that tenant signs will need to be brought before the Board and that they <br /> hould go to Design Review first. <br /> i <br />
