,t''M q
•= Own o Mashpee Planning Board
d
16 Great Neck,Road North, Mashpee, MA 02649
7efeP hone (508)539-1400 eXt. 520 • faX(508)539-1403
Mashpee Planning Board
Certificate of Action
November 8, 2001
To the Mashpee Town Clerk:
This is to certify that the Mashpee Planning Board, at its meeting of November 7, 2001,
has made its decision under the applicable Massachusetts statutes and Mashpee by-laws
and regulations on the application of of Paul J. Thomas, P.O. Box 128, East Falmouth,
MA 02536, for approval of a preliminary plan which was filed on October 17,2001.
The application has been approved with the following conditions:
1. The grade from Bog River Bend slopes downward from a high of Elevation 54 to a
low of 28 at the cul-de-sac. The grading must be limited to the 40' width provided for
the road layout as no easements in the Association property appear on the plan. Some
form of containment may be required to keep grading within these limits.
2. It appears that the low point of the property is at the cul-de-sac and could be set aside
for a drainage area. The plan shows two drainage areas on the sides of the road near
station 3+50. It would be preferable for these two drainage areas to be eliminated and
for all stormwater to be directed toward the low point with the appropriate pre-
treatment.
3. Computations supporting the sizing of the drainage area would be required in any
definitive submittal received by the Planning Board. It will also be necessary to
support calculations with soil tests and ground water determination.
You are hereby requested to retain this certificate and attachments pursuant to
Massachusetts General Laws.
On behalf of the Mashpec Planning Board
Received b the Town Clerk on 2061
T Clerk
