She them recognized Attorney Jack <br /> 1 lcElhinney, wiliowbend Country Club. <br /> Attorney 1 is lhinne updated-the Board with regard to discussions with the <br /> abutting willowbend neighbors. He reported there have been approximately four <br /> meetings with-neighbors-in-the Cranberry Ridge area, and those residents along <br /> Willowbend give, The parties continue to be in discussion in order to resolve their <br /> issues of concern. He reported that%some significant adjustments have been made to the <br /> scope of the project, such as a reduced unit count from 62=Umts to -units. The density <br /> along Simons Road has been reduced, as, ell as-in the back of the soccer field. <br /> Attorney 1e1hinney reported that he expects to receive results of the traffic. <br /> study next week which is being revised to reflect the reduction in unit count. National <br /> Heritage,has rernapped areas throughout I as pee which includes portions of the <br /> willo Abend Country Club property vhic .needs to be factored into the Development <br /> Plan and which has.to be filed-with the-state. <br /> Traffic/construction traffic and.sequence timing during the year along with traffic <br /> patters remain to be resolved with the residents. A. proposal has been made whereby the <br /> majority of construction traffic through the main entrance would use the <br /> Quinaqw`sset/Old Orchard Road signal intersection. Further adjustments willbe,made to <br /> the plan over the next-several.-wee s. He also made reference to transferring some of the <br /> density at the trailer area in order to lessen-the impacts, stating that the trailers will be <br /> removed by the end of the year and that five single-family homes are being,proposed at <br /> this location. <br /> Attorney Mc lhinney requested a further continuance to the November 5, 2008 <br /> Meeting. <br /> The Chairman noted tier are extensive letters of opposition in this regard. <br /> The Chairman them opened the,floor to public convent, recognizing-the <br /> following: <br /> James Green, 10 North glen Drive, willo rbend—Stated his property directly <br /> abuts the trailer parr, stated that to date.none ofthe-tilers have been removed. <br /> However, he is in support of this proposal stating he feels this would he a.tremendous <br /> improvement. Said trailers have been or�dernned.by the Board of Health and he would <br /> like to see them removed. <br /> 6 <br />
