Jw Kiu Ms. Fenn clarified that all of the right recommendations have been made in the Plan, but every one of them will have to implemented in order to c � be f p cope with the magnitude of the growth related problems. She also made the point that perhaps it will become more cost effective for p � p o the Town to buy residential lots than to sewer them. By way of suggestion, Ms. Fenn stated it might be beneficial ,CIE` to target some of the key or � g � g y organizations in Town prior to the Town +: Meeting for endorsements which could be laced in p a newspaper ad. She also suggested gathering representatives from various Town Boards who would be willing to speak in favor of the Plan at Town meeting. The Chairman opened the floor for discussion n ' a d recognized Diane Mulvey, who expressed concern for the number of locations alir (four, plus the existing business) cited in the Bylaw. � After some discussion the Chairman i � explained the number agreed upon had been considered to be the defensible minimum along with reasonable set-back numbers. I Ms. Mulvey then asked about the distance of one location from the Mashpee High School . The Chairman explained the measurement was taken from the corner of the building, not the entrance of the school grounds. (There was some discussion and explanation of the distance requirements. ) r y.! The Town Planner explained, based upon legal advice that a number of opportunities have to be provided f or such " establishments, and the four sites were as few as the Planning Board/Department determined to provide. re' The Chairman stated his priority has been to write a Bylaw that can and should be defended. Town Counsel had been consulted :r on a continuous basis and strongly suggested enough sites be f provided in the event the Bylaw is challenged in court. Ms. Mulvey then inquired about height requirements from the street; to which the Town Planner explained the height requirements would be the same as any other commercial building, 30 feet• i ,4 R•.f i
