Neither is it the purpose or intent of <br /> this by-law to legalize the sale, rental, distribution or exhibition of obscene or other illegal <br /> matter or materials. <br /> A. <br /> B. SPECIAL PERMITS RULES AND APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS = ` <br /> �° <br /> 4 <br /> Adult entertainment uses shall be prohibited in all zoning districts excepted as otherwise <br /> permitted in this bylaw; and furthermore, may be permitted only upon the grant of an adult use . <br /> special permit as specified in§174-24C(I). Such an adult uses special permit shall not be ranted <br /> p p g <br /> unless each of the following requirements, in addition to the requirements in§ 174-24 C special <br /> permit use, are satisfied: , <br /> I The application requirements and procedures shall <br /> be conducted pursuant to Section(s) 174- <br /> 24C of this Zoning Bylaw. <br /> 1 � <br /> 2} The application for a special permit for an adult use shall provide the name and address of <br /> the legal owner of the establishment, the legal owner of the property, and the manager of the <br /> proposed establishment. • <br /> f r <br /> 3) No Special Permit shall be issued to any applicant, if any applicant, principals), manager(s) <br /> have been convicted of violating the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 1192 <br /> Section 633 or Chapter 272, Sections 1 through 35A, or equivalent statues in other <br /> jurisdictions. Application shall include authorization for the Planning Board to confirm <br /> criminal record information through the appropriate authorities. <br /> 4) In addition to the Dimensional Requirements specified in§174-2 5 (11), a twenty 20 foot r <br /> vegetative buffer containing adequate screening given the character of the neighborhood and <br /> the intensity of the use shall be provided between adult entertainment uses and abutting <br /> commercial uses, if any. : <br /> 5) All building openings, entries and windows shall be screened in such a manner as to prevent <br /> visual access to the interior of the establishment by the public. v <br /> 6) No adult use shall be allowed to display for advertisement or other purpose an signs, <br /> P y p� y <br /> placards or other like materials to the general public on the exterior of the building or on the <br /> interior where the same may seen through lass or other like transparent material an <br /> g g p y <br /> sexually explicit figures or words as defined in M.G.L.
