i� <br /> f <br /> Town of Mashpee <br /> Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> September 16, 1998 <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was called to � <br /> order in Conference Room #1, Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck , <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts at 7: 05 p.m. on Wednesday, <br /> September 16, 1998 . The Chairman presided over a portion of the <br /> Meeting. <br /> �f <br /> Planning Board Members present: Patrick Coffey, Chairman; <br /> Dennis Bal zarini, Vice Chairman (7 : 17 p.m. ) ; John Kuchinski, jj, <br /> Clerk; James Dorgan; Chance Reichel; and Scott Mitchell, 1 <br /> Associate Member. <br /> Also present.- F. Thomas Fu.dala, Town Planner; Eric Twa.rog, <br /> Assistant Town Planner; and Charles Rowley, consulting Engineer. Al <br /> t� <br /> A quorum being present, the Chairman called the Meeting to <br /> order and addressed a non-agenda item. <br /> Plan Submission <br /> Applicant-Chris Costa <br /> Chris Costa submitted a Plan entitled, "Plan of Land in ; <br /> Mashpee beingan Abandonment of Village Way and Lots 5-6 8 and <br /> g y <br /> 13-21, as shown on Land Court Plan #27901D, Dated 4/24/98, <br /> prepared for Chris Costa and Associates. " <br /> References were being made to Lots 22 and 23 . The Town <br /> Planner explained Lot 22 does not have the required frontage on <br /> Route 130, which makes it necessary to retain Oakwood Road. <br /> The Chairman informed Applicant a cul-de-sac turn around is <br /> required for dead-end roads, and that a written request for =I <br /> waiver would be required if it is his intention to not provide <br /> for one. Applicant agreed and understood. <br /> The chairman inquired as to the issues of filing and fee <br /> payment. <br /> Applicant requested the Board approve a waiver of the <br /> required review fee. <br /> There was some discussion. The Town Planner noted the <br /> property is located within a commercial Zone, and that Lot 7 is <br /> not a buildable lot. He also pointed out the fee under <br /> discussion is required for services provided by the consulting <br /> Engineer. +� <br /> The Chairman deferred to Mr. Rowley, who asked if it is then+ <br /> intention of Applicant to construct Oakwood Road.
