MASHPEE PLANNING BOARD <br /> PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br /> Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws , Chapter 40A, the Mashpee <br /> Planning Board will hold a public hearing at 7 :00 p.m. on Wednesday, <br /> September 7 , 1994 in the Town Hall , Great Neck North , to review five <br /> zoning articles for action at the October 3 , 1994 Annual Town Meeting . <br /> Summaries of the articles are as follows : <br /> 1 . An amendment to the zoning map , submitted by petition, which <br /> would change the zoning on those parcels shown on the Mashpee <br /> Assessors Maps as Map 73 , lots 30 , 31 and 32 and Map 66, lot <br /> 107 , as well as the land encompassed by a street layout called <br /> "Brynwood Way , " all of which are located at the northeast corner <br /> of Route 151 and Old Barnstable Road , from R-5 residential to <br /> C-2 Commercial . <br /> 2. An amendment to the zoning map , submitted by petition, which <br /> would change the zoning on. those parcels shown on the 1993 Mashpee <br /> Assessors ' Maps as Map 81 , Parcels 29, 90 and 91 and Map 88, <br /> Parcels 90 , 40 , 7 and 6 , all of which are located on the west side <br /> of Route 28 north and east of Whitings Road , from R-3 residential <br /> to C-2 Commercial . (Map 81 , Block 29 is actually zoned I-1 <br /> Industrial at present) . <br /> 3. An article , submitted by petition , which appears to seek <br /> rezoning of the land shown on the Mashpee Assessors ' Maps as Map <br /> 36 , Block 11 , at 409 Main Street ( Route 130) , from the current <br /> R-5 Residential to "commercialism. " <br /> 4. An article , submitted by the Planning Board, which would amend <br /> Section 174-32 "Fire Protection" of the Zoning Bylaw by reducing <br /> access requirements to a single family home from the current <br /> 20-foot wide paved access way to within 150 feet of the farthest <br /> point of the structure to a 12-foot "maintained all-weather <br /> surface driveway, " with a cleared width of 16 feet, for that <br /> portion of the access way which lies within the lot and more than <br /> 150 feet from the farthest part of the structure. <br /> 5. An amendment to Subsection 174-79. 8. (7) of the Zoning Bylaw <br /> submitted by the Planning Board and Board of Selectmen, which <br /> would delete the current Groundwater Protection District <br /> boundaries described by that Subsection , an area roughly bounded <br /> by Job ' s Fishing Road , Donna ' s Lane, Timber Landing Road, River <br /> Road , Great Neck Road South and the eastern portions of the <br /> Holland Mill Estates and Highlands subdivisions , Route 28, Deer <br /> Crossing , Whitings Road and Route 151 , and replace them with <br /> revised boundaries encompassing the eastern portions of the <br /> Holland Mill Estates and Highlands subdivisions and an area along <br /> Great Hay Road between the southern property line of the Mashpee <br /> Industrial Park and the southern property line of the parcel <br /> described on the 1994 Mashpee Assessors ' Maps as map 98, Block 9A. <br />
