MASHPEE PLANNING BOARD <br /> PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE <br /> Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws , Chapter 40 A, Section 5 , <br /> the Mashpee Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday , <br /> September 22 , 1993 at 7 : 00 p .m. in the Mashpee Town Hall , Great <br /> Neck Road North , to review the following zoning articles proposed <br /> for action at the October 4 , 1993 Annual Town Meeting . <br /> 1 . Amendments to Sections 174- 17 , 174-31 and 174-3 which would <br /> revise the standards and procedures applicable to continuance , <br /> extension or alteration of nonconforming structures and uses , <br /> allow 15 foot side and rear setbacks for certain existing <br /> structures in the R-5 district and create a definition of <br /> " Nonconforming Structure . " <br /> 2. An amendment to the Section 174-25 Table of Use Regulations , <br /> Subsection B . ( 10 ) to allow child care facilities in the R-5 and <br /> I- 1 districts . <br /> 3 . An amendment adding a footnote 16 to the Section 174-31 Land <br /> Space Requirements Table allowing certain encroachments by <br /> specified building projections into required building setback <br /> areas . <br /> 4. An amendment adding a new Subsection H. (7) to the Section <br /> 174-25 Table of Use Regulations which would allow certain uses <br /> currently allowed only as accessory uses to be constructed as <br /> principal uses on a lot which cannot otherwise be developed <br /> with a principal residential use . <br /> 5. An amendment to footnote 4 of the Section 174-31 Land Space <br /> Requirements Table clarifying height regulations regarding <br /> widows walks and roof decks . <br /> 6 . An amendment to Subsection A. ( 13 ) of the Section 174-25 Table <br /> of Use Regulations allowing Bed & Breakfast homes with up to <br /> three guest rooms in the R-3 and R-5 districts . <br /> 7. An amendment to the Section 174-3 definition of Detached <br /> Dwelling regulating connections between structures as they <br /> relate to the provisions of Section 174-25.A. ( 1 ) . <br /> 8. An amendment to the Zoning Map redesignating a portion of the <br /> parcel shown on the Mashpee Assessors ' Map 81 , Block 1 from R-3 <br /> Residential to C-2 Commercial . <br /> 9. An amendment to the Zoning Map redesignating the parcel shown <br /> on the Mashpee AssessorsMap 81 , Block 29 from I- 1 Industrial <br /> to C-2 Commercial . <br /> Submitted by Publication dates : <br /> Anthony E .
