With regard to the problems of water quality at , the Mashpee River and concerns to protect and improve the water duality, a meeting has taken place regarding potential to create a DCPC. Due to permitting issues, there are no plans to begin dredging in h Mashpee River until 1.9 9 8-9 9. There have never � g g to pe e � a been any tidal measurements taken. The waterways commission is seeking funds from the windchime Account. It appears that 3 pP .�v. nitrate measurement information ion in the Mashpee Rivers stem i s ` . P system, � lacking in terms of field measurements. Mr. Hanks and the ,J Shellfish constable have discussed the possibility of purchasing equipment with which to measure nitrate loading.
