One project is to construct three <br /> duplex famil-y dwellings for a total of si'x- units; and the three`-second <br /> ­ <br /> ___total .-.- <br /> project is to construct 24 elderly home units: Both rojects have P <br /> handicapped and disabled:- Mashpee Boar <br /> units to accommodate thekn <br /> of Appeals No.SP-87-06-060: <br /> A Petition was filed by the Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> two Comprehensive Permits seeking this Board's permission to construct4 <br /> and build two separate housing projects. <br /> The decision will address each application separately. <br /> DECISION I <br /> The first project was seeking permission under Massachusetts <br /> General Laws, Chapter 40B - a Comprehensive Permit, to construct <br /> three two-family houses on a parcel of property . containing <br /> approximately 6.2 acres, more or less. The property was located <br /> on Old Barnstable Road in Mashpee ,and is presently owned by the Town <br /> of. Mashpee. Mashpee Town Meeting vote authorized the transfer of <br /> this property by the Town of Mashpee to the Mashpee Housing Authority <br /> for the express purpose of building a low- and moderate-income housing <br /> development which would be utilized under Chapter 705, Housing for <br /> ^isabled and Families Programs. <br />
