'} .• <br /> Thomas Fudala informed the Board that he had submitted a 4 <br /> memo to the Selectmen but has not had a reply Me p Y from them. He has 04, <br /> not been scheduled to attend a Selectmen' s Meeting as of this , <br /> date. <br /> In answer to a request from the Chairman for a status F� ± <br /> R <br /> review, Thomas Fudala informed the Board eleven Elements of the <br /> Plan are completed; two mandatory Elements and two optional <br /> r�Z <br /> ` Elements are yet to be completed. • <br /> The Chairman reviewed pros and cons with regard to <br /> submission of this Plan for a Town Meeting. He further clarified ;. <br /> would 1 <br /> to the Board that at some point the Planning Beard w ou have to 9, <br /> approve and recommend the Plan. <br /> At <br /> Thomas Fudala outlined the remaining Elements to be Water <br /> Water Waste Water Facilities; Land Use and Growth <br /> Resources, l � <br /> Management are mandatory. He informed the Board that Water Resources would <br /> be finished by the beginning of August; Land Use and Growth <br /> Management will not. The Transportation and certain other , <br /> Elements have to be refined in order to incorporate changes, <br /> such as open Space, Affordable Housing, Coastal Resources, • <br /> Aquaculture, Public Safety and Shelter Space. There is a lot of <br /> work yet to be done. <br /> Dennis Balzarini asked about the approval procedure; Thomas <br /> Fudala answered an ultimate vote could be taken on the package as <br /> a whole. A vote regarding submission to Cape Cod Commission for <br /> preliminary certification <br /> ion has to be made. When the Commission has <br /> given their approval, the Plan can then be submitted to Town � <br /> Meeting for their approval, at which time the Plan would b <br /> resubmitted to the Commission for final certification. <br /> The Chairman explained that at some point the Plan has to be <br /> presented as something that has been approved by the Planning <br /> Board, as well as the Local Comprehensive planning Committee. He <br /> t it would be appropriate for the Plannng � <br /> continued to suggest Planning <br /> Board to provide thy- ultimate explanation and support of the Plan <br /> when seeking a vote from the Town in this regard.
