— f
7
ref
r.,
The chairman requested receipt of actual square footage
figures for what is going to be built, to be calculated by a
s registered engineer.
r
Mr. Bornstein was under the impression that a summary- of
figures, as prepared. by Mr. Eldredge, had previously been filed
with the Planning Board.
The Chairman specified the Board would require a more
detailed plan of the buildings before approval could be granted.
Mr. Bornstein insisted this information has been recorded within
the Special Permit. There are to be no changes with regard to '
materials- the silhouette has, changed.
The Chairman quoted what is required under Condition #8 :
"Site Plan, Engineering Drawings, Specifications, Architectural
Renderings and Building Plans. Describe any proposed revisions
to footprint, roadways, garages, architectural design, profiles
or common areas. 11
Mr. Bornstein requested an indication of the Board' s
decision of the preliminary design. Dennis Balzarini appeared to
be in favor of the design. Thomas Fudala inquired as to the
status of the garages as shown on the plan. Mr. Bornstein stated
garages would be built at the request of the buyers. He agreed
to present a design of the garage at the next Meeting.
The Chairman determined Mr. Bornstein was requesting general
guidance on general plans; there being no strong objections from
the Board. Thomas Fudala stated engineering plans for roadways
and drainage would be required. Mr. Bornstein made reference to
the plan, indicating where drainage, electric and telephone have r
already been installed. The Chairman suggested Mr. Bornstein
resubmit the original site plan and review the checklist prior to
the next Meeting.
Public Comment
The Chairman read into the Record a letter received from
Windchime Trustees, dated August 6, 1997, addressed to Patrick
J. Coffey, chairman-Mashpee Planning Board. which letter is ,; ,
submitted herewith to be made part of the official Record.
The letter addressed the issues of the necessity for a
revised engineered site plan, increase in footprint, drawings for
proposed garage structures, diversity of building structures,
symmetry design in area of the "crescents" ,, screened porches, :PAI
brick chimneys, extension of entrances.
Mr. Bornstein responded that the proposed plan had been
Presented to the Association some time ago. This not being a
detailed plan, but rather a concept of the building design,
some structures and materials have not been indicated. He
concluded that the building designs are very similar to the
existing buildings located within this project. Design
-5-
