(This matter concluded <br /> at ■ • 15 p.m. ) <br /> Charles Rowley respectfully requested permission to depart <br /> from the Meeting at this point. <br /> Public Hearing ` <br /> Byrne Development Corporation-Stratford Ponds, L.L.O. <br /> The Chairman called the Public Hearing to order and �•� <br /> recognized Jack Dawley, Northland Residential Corporation, who <br /> requested Board approval of an Amendment to the Special. Permit <br /> transferring development rights from Byrne Development =w <br /> it <br /> Corporation to Northland Residential Corporation. There is in <br /> existence a Purchase and Sale Agreement between the parties dated <br /> May 11 1997 . In accordance with the Findings, an analysis has <br /> been conducted verifying that the Special Permit is in full force <br /> and effect, as well as requesting the transfer. Mr. Dawley and <br /> Mr. Byrne have met with David. Rich, water Department, in response <br /> to a concern regarding water pressure, which is documented in a <br /> letter from the Fire Department stating their approval of the <br /> existing water condition within the project. The project is <br /> connected to Mashpee Water District water mains; the well system <br /> on site is capable of providing over 1, 000 gallons per minute at <br /> sixty (6 0) pounds per square inch, as documented by a fire flow <br /> test conducted in May by the Fire Department. <br /> r <br /> Mr. Dawley read the following letter into the Record.- "As <br /> per our meeting on September 2nd, in the event that the water in <br /> Stratford Ponds system is not sufficient for fire fighting <br /> operations, we would notify the Mashpee Water District and ask <br /> their representative to respond by opening the valve that <br /> connects the District water to the development ' s water system <br /> increasing the flow available. We will also note in our pre-fire <br /> plans that additional District water supply comes from Falmouth <br /> Road and that if additional sources are required, the hydrant on 'lip <br /> Meadow Haven would also be available from a different line. <br /> Thank you for your response and cooperation in this matter.
