In response to a question by the <br /> Chairman. Mr. Moore stated the sample mix was taken from the <br /> front of his home at #37 Amy Brown Road. <br /> Consulting Engineer, Charles Rowley, arrived at the Meeting <br /> at 6 : 50 p.m. He stated a lot of material has been pushed up onto <br /> the shoulders. He further stated there is more stone in the <br /> material than what appears in the sample provided by Mr. Moore. <br /> The Chairman recognized Mildred Koslow, 25 Amy Brown Road, <br /> who reported the surface of the road is not uniform, and further <br /> that very little mix has been provided in front of her home. She <br /> also stated the condition of the surface in some areas has begun <br /> to disintegrate. <br /> t <br /> The Chairman read the following: "Approval of proposed <br /> upgraded roadways for access to these three Lots, plus all _ <br /> legally existing Lots along the south side of Amy Brown Road, and <br /> did not allow for the subdivision of any other parcels along the <br /> road. Additional design/detail drawings must be provided <br /> regarding the proposed gravel driveway doing a proper roadway <br /> crown. Shoulders to be properly stabilized, loam and seed <br /> installed between the edge of the proposed roadway and the <br /> proposed, twenty-two (22) foot wide area of clearing. " He i <br /> determined there was no mention of stone dust, gravel, or <br /> anything else on the additional run off dirt roads. <br /> Mr. Rowley confirmed the intent was to provide simply a ' <br /> gravel base, six (6) inches, as noted in the cross section. Mr. <br /> Rowley further stated he had made three (3) inspection trips to <br /> the site, and reported the intention of the specs to be <br /> "reasonably close. " He informed the Board that he had measured <br /> the w' intermittentlyfourteen <br /> ldth of the road to be �14} feet. <br /> The Chairman stated his personal desire to view the F„! ; <br /> situation along with the Consulting Engineer, the standards <br /> being what had been agreed upon at the time of approval. As the <br /> Town Planner pointed out, the agreement made included a <br /> stipulation that additional design information be submitted, as a <br /> result of a combination of the Hearings and road standards. <br /> -3- <br />
