Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 28, 2005 and <br /> February 4, 2005, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, <br /> Frederick Borgeson, Evano Cunha and Jonathan Furbush. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering represents the petitioner. He is <br /> seeking a special permit to add the use of manufacturing and repairing countertops to the <br /> building he is interested in erecting. He has been through Plan Review who had <br /> comments that included the following: (1) change the drainage; (2) all parking needs to <br /> be curbed: (3) fire department wants access to two sides of the building and they made it <br /> three; (4) and sprinkler the entire building where there is an agreement with the owner <br /> and the Town of Mashpee. They will install a denitrification system, which is a positive <br /> item for the town. The Board of Health has requested the following be incorporated into <br /> the decision: <br />
