Mashpee Zoning Barbara Beeby 3
Board of Appeals c/o Elliot and Anne Bloom
SP-05-31
SPECIFIC FINDINGS
The Board determined that:
1. there is adequate land area to provide sufficient parking.
2. the immediate neighborhood consists of single-family homes of similar size;
many of which have been improved with additions or reconstruction.
3. there will be the installation of a new septic system.
4. the proposed dwelling will be less non-conforming that what currently exists
now.
5. the number of bedrooms will be reduced from four to three, thus reducing the
total effluent to this neighborhood.
In view of the foregoing, the Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals found that the
Petitioner met the criteria necessary for the granting of a Special Permit. Upon motion
duly made and seconded, the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously on April 12,
2005 to grant a Special Permit to raze, change and alter the existing dwelling on the
subject property. The Special Permit is conditioned on plans from Falmouth
Engineering, dated June 10, 2004, revised July 29, 2004 and revised April 4, 2005,
project number 03166, architectural plans from Archi-tect Associates, of Cotuit, MA,
dated April 12, 2005,job number 0349, as prepared for the applicants.
