• <br />0 <br />Re: <br />`town of Nashpee <br />MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEAL 16 Great JVeck Pvoad JVorth <br />ashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />Decision for a Special Permit <br />Plymouth Sign Co., for Rockland Trust 5 Shellback Way <br />Map 81 Parcel 89 <br />SP -03-17 <br />A Petition was filed on January 2, 2003 2002 by Plymouth Sign Co., for Rockland <br />Trust for a Special Permit under Section 174-5 LC of the Zoning By-laws for permission <br />to erect a business sign not in excess of 40 square feet on property located in a C-1 <br />zoning district at 5 Shellback Way (Map 81 Parcel 89) Mashpee, MA. <br />Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br />Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br />newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on January 10, 2003 and <br />January 17, 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br />Wednesday, January 22, 2003, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br />of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Zella Elizenberry, James E. Regan, III <br />and Robert G. Nelson. <br />The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br />provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br />Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br />Mary Jane Yeomans from Plymouth Sign Co. represented the petitioner. They are <br />seeking a Special Permit in order to erect a business sign that is 40 square feet. The law <br />requires a Special Permit if the sign is over 20 square feet. The Board moves to grant the <br />Special Permit for the sign and said sign shall not be in excess of forty (40) square feet. <br />
