(8) of the Zoning By-laws to build an accessory structure to the existing dwelling <br /> on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 86 Blue Castle Drive (Map 104 Parcel <br /> 15) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, August 1, 2003 and August 8, <br /> 2003, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> . of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Marshall Brem, Zella Elizenberry and <br /> Richard Guerrera. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Dorsey represented themselves at the hearing. They are <br /> seeking a special permit in order to build an accessory structure to their existing house. <br /> They are going to combine 2 of the existing bedrooms since the Board of Health has <br /> restricted them to no more than 3 bedrooms in the house. The accessory structure will be <br /> the third bedroom. The Board reminds Mr. Dorsey that the house will remain owner <br /> occupied and that the accessory structure shall not make the house look like a two family <br /> dwelling from the street. Mr. Dorsey informs that Board that he plans to have the <br /> accessory structure over the garage with the addition of a gable end. <br /> • <br />
