Jones 28 Great River Road <br /> Map 120 Parcel 68A <br /> SP-02-138 <br /> A Petition was filed on October 31, 2002 for a Special Permit under Section 174- <br /> 20 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to demolish an existing dwelling and construct a is <br /> new home on property located in an R-3 zoning district at 28 Great River Road(Map 120 <br /> Parcel 68A) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Cape Cod Times, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 6, 2002 and <br /> December 13, 2002, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> a <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> i <br /> Wednesday, December 11, 2002 and continued to Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at which <br /> time the following members of the Zoning Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. John Slavinsky of Cape & Islands Engineering, represented the petitioner. <br /> He is seeking a Special Permit in order to demolish the existinghouse and rebuild a new <br /> w <br /> house. The Board moves to grant the Special Permit. <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS <br /> 1. that the subject property is located at 28 Great River Road and contains <br /> 19,400 square feet. <br />
