Sturm SP-00-92 53 Godfrey Road <br /> Map 96 Block 104J <br /> A Petition was filed on February 16, 2000 by Richard H. Sturm of New Fairfield, <br /> Connecticut for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to construct a pier, ramp and float on Mashpee River on property located in <br /> an R-3 zoning district at 53 Godfrey Road(Map 96 Block 104J)Mashpee, MA. , <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on March 24 and March 31, <br /> 2000, a co of which is attached hereto and made a art hereof. <br /> copy p <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: James E. Regan III, Marshall A. Brem and <br /> Frederick R. Borgeson. Mr. Nelson stepped down and left the room. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. David Sanicki of Cape &Islands Engineering represented the applicant and <br /> stated that a request for a Variance is not required for construction of the pier, ramp and <br /> float. The existing structure shall be removed. The Conservation Commission has <br /> approved the project. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> GENERAL FINDINGS <br /> Godfrey 1. that the subject property is located at 53 Goy Road and consists of 24,918 <br /> square feet fronting on Mashpee River. ;.. <br /> r: <br />
