SP-00-155 Map 54 Block 5 <br /> 106 Falmouth Road <br /> A Petition was filed on July 19, 2000 by First Student, Inc. of East Falmouth, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.G.7 of the Zoning By-laws to <br /> allow for parking of school buses on property located in I-1 and R-3 zoning districts at <br /> 106 Falmouth Road(Map 54 Block 5)Mashpee, MA. Owner of record: Duck Pond <br /> Limited Partnership. f I' <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on August 4 and August 11, <br /> � I <br /> 2000, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, August 23, 2000, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III <br /> and Marshall A. Brem. �I <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> I <br /> Ms. Heather Kotchian represented the Petition and stated that negotiations are <br /> under way with Mr. DiMaggio for First Student, Inc.to park buses on his property <br /> located at 135 Main Street. Ms. Kotchian asked the Board to continue the Petition. <br /> The Board expressed concern with the potential for traffic problems associated <br /> with parking school buses on the subject property at 106 Falmouth Road. The Board <br /> requested the Petitioner to submit a copy of the plot plan that indicates the exact location <br /> of the residential zone and the industrial zone on the property located on 106 Falmouth <br /> Road. <br /> The Board voted unanimously to continue the Petition until September 13, 2000. <br /> At the continued hearings on September 13, 2000,the Petitioner failed to appear <br /> at the meeting. Upon motion duly made and seconded,the Mashpee Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals voted unanimously to Deny Without Prejudice the above-referenced Petition for <br /> a Special Permit, SP-00-155. <br /> i <br /> I <br />
