I� <br /> iI <br /> Attorney Mills submitted a Certification Course Outline for the Board's review. <br /> Programs offered would include instruction in karate, obesity education,physical <br /> i <br /> education, aerobics instructor Certification courses, fitness training courses and CPR <br /> Ii <br /> certification. Ackland Sports Medicine, Cape Cod Rehabilitation, Physical Therapists !i� <br /> and Nutritionists plan to offer health related educational opportunities. Many of the <br /> courses qualify for college credits. <br /> Because the proposal lies within the Groundwater Protection District, copies of <br /> the Petition have been referred to the Board of Health,Planning Board, Conservation <br /> t , <br /> I <br /> Commission, Department of Public Works and the Mashpee Water District. <br /> Mr. Govoni read a memo from Health Agent Elias A. McQuaid saying that the <br /> Petitioner must supply more information in order for the Board of Health to forward its <br /> comments to the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding the Petition. t <br /> The Board received a memo from the Planning Board expressing concern"with <br /> regard to the manufacture, storage,transportation or use of any hazardous material, based <br /> on the materials provided, regards the storage of chemicals used in the x-ray developing <br /> room shown on the floor plan". The Planning Board memo also stated that it"believes <br /> that the business may not be permitted in the underlying I-1 Industrial zoning district". <br /> The memo concluded with the following: "...any special permits,with minor exceptions <br /> not applicable here, require approval by the Planning Board and not by the ZBA..." j <br /> A memo from Greg Taylor,Director, DPW, found"no issues related to the l <br /> i <br /> I � <br /> Mashpee DPW." <br /> The Board voted unanimously to continue the Petition until an opinion can be <br /> obtained from Town Counsel. <br /> At the continued Public Hearings on January 10, 2001, Mr. Govoni read the <br /> r <br /> correspondence from Attorney Elizabeth A. Lane of Kopelman and Paige, P.C. Attorney <br /> Lane stated that she did"not find any prohibited use category to which the proposed use <br /> is substantially similar". <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> i <br />
