Crosby V-99-56 37 Coombs Lane <br /> Map 44 Block 26 <br /> A Petition was filed on June 15, 1999 by Kenneth J. Crosby of Hanson, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-32 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to construct a home on an unpaved road on property located in an R-3 <br /> zoning district at 37 Coombs Lane (Map 44 Block 26)Mashpee,MA (Owner of <br /> record: Mary Ann Thomas). <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 29 and July 6, 1999, <br /> a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. Regan III and <br /> Robert G. Nelson. <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town <br /> of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. James Callaway represented the applicant who is requesting Variance relief to <br /> allow for construction of a new dwelling on an unpaved road. He stated that none of the <br /> other developed lots on Coombs Lane have been required by the Board of Appeals to <br /> install indoor sprinkler systems. Mr. Callaway stated that the Fire Department informed <br /> him that they cut power to a dwelling in case of a fire,thereby rendering useless a <br /> sprinkler system installed in a home with well water. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br /> i <br /> e <br />
