Routhier - V-95-67 16 Summersea Road <br /> Map 104 Block 95 <br /> A Petition was filed on November 16, 1995 by Thomas G. Routhier of Boston, <br /> r Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to exceed the 70' length requirement for piers to allow for a 158' boardwalk <br /> and pier and a 3' x 14' ramp and 8' x 16' float in an R-3 zoning district on property <br /> located at 16 Summersea Road (Map 104, Block 95)Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 24, 1995 and December 1, <br /> 1995, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 13, 1995 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following members of the <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Kenneth E. <br /> Marsters and Robert G. Nelson. <br /> E <br /> This Decision is issued by the Mashpee Board of Appeals pursuant to the <br /> '. provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and Section 174- <br /> ' = 25.I.9 of the Town of Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Engineer Stephen J. Doyle represented the Applicant and explained that the rear of <br /> the subject lot is extensive marshland and that the proposed 158' boardwalk and pier were <br /> �- necessary to cross the marsh to the Bay. He informed the Board that the plans had been <br /> approved by the Conservation Commission, Harbormaster and Shellfish Constable. <br /> I <br />
